Eric Mphohoni started his career in 2017 as a Quantitative Analyst in the First Rand 4-in-1 graduate program. During this time, he gained basic exposure in Wholesale Credit, Retail Credit and Market Risk.

He passed all 3 of his CFA exams and is currently planning on writing his FRM level 2.

He is currently with the Counter-party Credit Risk team at Rand Merchant Bank where they specifically focus on managing derivative exposures. He has a keen interest in tutoring as he’s
worked with various tutoring programs. Eric and a fellow student also started a program during their last year at university to tutor ‘Process 1’ to first-year engineering students free of charge, which turned out to be very successful have since used this platform to educate the students on how to efficiently deal with the University environment.
